Due to the versatility of the hammock insulation systems, the wide variety of applications and variations in camp set up it is difficult to establish an overall comfort temperature for these items. As a general reference the insulation used is Travelsoft with the similar fill weights to our two season sleeping bags. We would strongly recommend you experiment with your own set up and gradually build up to more extreme temperatures until you are confident of the overall thermal performance.

It's a dark green, with maybe some brown tint to it. It has a nice diamond weave, and overall is pretty nice looking.

Wings are meant to go underneath you mainly to keep it in place, not to add warmth.

Foot box is big, able to fit my buddies size 13 feet.

I’ve tested this down to 37 and was fine but I could tell that I wouldn’t be able to push it much further unless you add an under quilt.  That was with my fleece jacket on and my thermals. And closed cell foam pad.

With a good underquilt you could take this down my estimate of 27.

I will continue to update you all on how it handles temps now that fall is here.

For the price, there is no other top quilt on the market. The next closest competition is from ENO, the spark, and is about $100, more than twice as expensive, and is also rated to only 50 degrees.

Excellent price

Is this quilt the best on the market? Will this be the last quilt you ever own? No, not really. However this is still an absolutely amazing deal for a quilt, and should last for years if cared for

Down quilts work better but are expensive. this will serve the same function and has anti-microbial fabric treatment which is a plus.
