  1. This is MY FAVORITE piece of gear and is rare one, too. SIGN ME UP IN THIS CONTEST!

I'd love to see a review of the US Army's modular sleep system (the first gen one that you can buy anywhere). Does the goretex bivy work well? Is it worth replacing my tent system? (I have a lightweight black diamond but want to drop some pounds in my pack).

So I'd love to see a review of the US Army's modular sleep system (the green bag, black bag, and the camo goretex bivy cover) since they are so readily available and most folks can get them for a halfway decent price and in good shape.

  2. I'm always interested in learning more about stoves and cooking kits. The military always has sturdy gear in the regard. Also, anything to do with molle systems on backpacks.

  6. Howdy Luke, You've done quite a few knife reviews and they have been very much appreciated. For a military surplus idea, how about the KA-BAR 1217 as a budget Camp/Bushcraft knife. They've been around forever and served GI's well. Just a thought.
