The only reaction you can expect is the formation of a titanium oxide patina, which protects the metal from corrosion. The titanium oxide is if possible LESS reactive than the actual metal, so any you may consume will simply pass through your digestive tract and exit without fanfare.

Hope this helps alleviate your concerns.RustedMindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05703836107047713283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3038849719106294025.post-92170829537118650302017-02-15T15:01:44.097-05:002017-02-15T15:01:44.097-05:00Hey Luke, I've got some new info for ya. Toak...Hey Luke, I've got some new info for ya. Toaks Outdoor has already addressed the lid issue, but it hasn't made it into most of their product lines. The new lid, available separately, both sits deeper in the pot/cup, and has a wider brim, which will prevent it from tipping over so easily. The 80mm version for the small cups is $4.95, and the 95mm which fits the 750mL pots is $7.95. Here's the link: https://www.toaksoutdoor.com/collections/accessory/products/lid-new?variant=32276190790

Hope this helps.RustedMindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05703836107047713283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3038849719106294025.post-55398742394612638792017-02-15T08:55:25.384-05:002017-02-15T08:55:25.384-05:00My only concern is the Titanium. Just a question I had.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00599833329836020725noreply@blogger.com
