Haven't even watched the video yet, but had to tip my hat to your slick site theming. Sadly though, as much as I'd like to end this comment and watch the new overnight adventure, I wouldn't be a good digital neighbor if I didn't give ya the heads up on a potential issue. A few months back, the Linux Mint website was hacked pretty bad. The hacker made off with the entire user database and a chunk of the forums, which were later found for sale for bitcoins. The hacker also created an infected iso image of the Linux distribution and uploaded it to their servers, making it necessary to shut down all the Linux Mint sites pending an emergency response to the attack. Within a few days of its discovery, it was revealed that a wordpress theme with insecure file permissions had been the source of the problem. While I'm sure someone as savvy as yourself most likely checked the file permissions before applying the new theme, it probably wouldn't hurt to have another look. I hope the theme is secure, and this comment was simply the result of worrying too much, but the Outdoor Gear Review has reawakened my love of the outdoors. If there's a chance this comment can help you and Susan out a little bit, it's worth embarrassing myself a bit. God bless ya, Luke.
As always it was an excellent adventure, Luke. Thanks for bringing us along. Seems it wasn't the same kind of feeling that you tend to give off in a lot of your adventures, but the solitude creeped in until you didn't want to leave the fire to throw up your bear bag until well after dark. That's pretty well how I measure a good trip. The harder it is to tear yourself away from the fire(not to mention the dreams and thoughts in your head), the better the trip is. Thanks again for taking us all with you, Luke. Lookin' forward to another adventure--and yes indeed, please DO bring us more overnighters from Lone Wolf Mountain!
Thank you very much Rustedmind! That was a great trip and I do appreciate you watching and commenting. All the best to you.- Luke
As far as beverages..... coffee first thing, mandatory !.... then water thru the day... but as nite sets in, a great cup of tea... most any flavor, but I like plain-old black tea best. Have a great trip, thanks for the vid !!
You and I sound almost exactly the same when it comes to our fluids. Haha I bet you never though someone would say that to you. haha- Luke
Another great adventure that was truly enjoyable. Thanks for letting us tag along and be a part. You asked about our opinions of possible after life. Luke my friend I have just been diagnosed with liver cancer so I have truly been thinking about this a lot over the past few days and to be honest I do think there is something that is greater than all of us and to be honest with you I am looking forward to that greatest of all adventures. Thanks again my friend and fellow Carolinian God Bless.
Hey there Fred, thank you for commenting brother! I've been thinking about you a lot since I saw your post on the 12th. There is strength in your words and in your attitude and I hope that you continue to enjoy each day. There will be some rough ones but I know that you will get through them.Stay in touch my friend and god bless.- Luke

What have you done for it while out there? Thanks!Strength and Honour!
Hey there Dean, thanks for watching and commenting my friend. As for being sick on the trail, it happens. With a cold I typically go slower but keep pressing on. If it's a stomach bug or flu, I head home to recover. Plus I don't want to get anyone else sick. S&H to you too! - Luke
