The Hot 3 is designed specifically for wildland fire crews. We originally worked with the Los Padres Hotshots to build a pack that rides low on the back and distributes weight through the wearer’s hips and core to maintain mobility and balance during the widely varied operations encountered in the fire environment.
When it comes to my perspective of this pack it is from a backpackers point of view. Not from a firefighters. So as we go through this video please keep that in mind.
