Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures with us. My big wish list item is the Aqua Quest King Kamo tarp. I picked up an SAS book and canteen set for my young Tiger Cub nephew, hopefully we get the chance to camp together in the new year. A very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and everyone.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a new sleeping bag but not sure which i'd like to get.
ReplyDeleteHé Gray Bush! Happy holidays for you and your family. My biggest outdoor christmas present would be a hiking / camping backpack like a Eberlestock for those multiple day hikes, however.. You've always got to have something to wish for so for me it probably will be something like a nice folding knife that I can use for EDC and also at work as a EMT. Again all the best and cheers from the Netherlands. Harm
ReplyDeleteI would really love a Fjallraven Greenland jacket for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great videos. Happy Holidays! I would have to say my favorite present under the tree would be a Dark Timber custom knife even though I would be just as happy with one of the knifes your giving away. Thanks for the opportunity, and keep on howling!

ReplyDeleteHi Luke hope you're all doing well. I'd have to say some trioxane. I've tried solid fuel tablets and they were rubbish so some simple trioxane would be Brill to have!

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Luke. It was a bit of a surprise to see this in my email, but it wasn't difficult to think what piece of gear would make my Christmas the best in recent history. Since our household income is about to be cut in half, I seriously doubt I'll ever get this bag of goodies, but here it is: The 12 Survivors Shire 2P. I ADORE that tent because it's OD green, which means it melts into the foliage most of the year, it has two convertible rainfly porches, one on each side, an X-shaped single-pole skeleton that would go up instantly(and painlessly for me since I have 4 degenerated discs), and it weighs in at 5.8 pounds, which is a little over half the weight of my current tent, which I swear is an exercise of pain and frustration to set up. It was advertised as having clips rather than sleeves, but it has BOTH, which turns setup into something less akin to camping and more resembling surgery, and by the time it's up, my spine feels like somebody's been having his jollies with a nail gun from my tailbone to my shoulder blades. Because the Shire 2P is so dead quick and simple to set up, even thinking about it during a wet, cold, bad back day feels almost as good as my last ER happy shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway Luke! It would be awesome to open up an invitation for an over night adventure with the one and only, the "Lone Wolfe", Luke! It could be like one of those Bear Grylls episodes...hahaha! We can use the gear you recommend...(I do need a nice back pack ;). Merry Christmas to you and your family Luke!
