Recently in one of my overnight adventures, I received a comment from a guy who asked why I went through all of the effort which I did just to camp out in a nasty storm.  At the time, I didn’t think much about the question but the other day I was thinking about it and that was actually a good question and it is one which I will answer for the channel in the form of a video.

  1. Luke in the Columbia basin.five sided basalt rock capital and the mighty snake rivers.Lots of running water. The basin is very fertile Loomy soil.dark to medium brown. Some parts of the seep lakes are under direction department of interior,as is also bureau of land management and department of reclaimation. With irrigation departments one feels the true weight in the chain of command. After experiencing the lazer show on grand coulee and seeing the visual history of the great basin. My feeling is that the tourist that visit should experience more The Enterperative trail experiance.Horse back, bicycleing, river rafting, canoing,or kayaking. With 3or more bass camps including covered wagon with true camp cooking.camping out here is available but srictly controlled by blm.fish and game and wild life refuge wardens etc.etc..What I feel is through cooperation that a two week excursion would possibly be a way that truly explains what the Columbia basin is also about.Patrick Leary.
