Price : Retail price according to the NH web site is $286. On sale at the time of filming for $200.

AliExpress price is only $105 which is a massive difference.

Unfortunately the NH site contradicts itself as far as the materials go. They state that the tarp is made from a 150D Oxford and they also state a 50D encrypted Oxford cloth fly and iron tube poles

Materials Impressions :
With this being made from an Oxford cloth which is a polyester, there is a very cheap feel to the material. For $300 retail, I would be upset with the purchase; that’s a premium price for a very cheap material.

For the sale price of $200, it’s still a hard sale especially when you can pick this up on AliExpress for $100. $100 for the poles and an Oxford cloth tarp, that makes a lot more sense to me.

By the way, if you aren’t familiar with Oxford cloth, I’m happy to tell you a bit about it. It is most known for being a material that clothing such as shirts is made from. While oxford cloth use to be made from cotton, it is now made primarily from polyester.

You will find that most outdoor products that are made from Oxford cloth to be on the cheap side; I’ll be frank, the biggest pieces of $hit are made from this material and in general, I would recommend staying away from Oxford cloth products; not all products are going to be garbage but a lot are and you have to be careful with what you purchase. Again, not all Oxford clothing products are going to be bad, but most are!

Oxford tents and tarps are generally exceptionally inexpensive; for an example, you can purchase massive tarps for $40 or so…which makes the price of this setup a problem. If this was made from nylon, I could see the $200 making sense, but for an Oxford material, this seems highly overpriced. The Aliexpress price seems much more reasonable.
